New Work: Brighenti Design Studio

This shoot put me way out of my comfort zone but I’m thrilled with how it worked out!

For starters, the plan for this shoot was a dark and moody theme which is not something I do often. I usually stick to the bright, pop-art style of images, but I’ve really enjoyed exploring my ‘dark side’ and I think I will be doing more of this in the future.

The other challenge here was the shiny reflective surfaces of the pots - which meant a lot of fiddling around with lighting and reflections in a limited time window. After the experience of shooting these products I think I’ll be updating to my ‘how to shoot shiny objects’ blog post with some extra tips!
