NEW WORK: Two Little Gumnuts

Last year I partnered with BrisStyle to be a mentor in the Entrepreneurs Mentorship Program. The program was sponsored by the Brisbane City Council and offered 15 lucky makers the opportunity to undertake an 20 week program where they would receive support for mentors across a range of different small business specialties.

This was my third year of mentoring in the program and I had an absolute blast teaching about styling, shooting and editing and having one on one photo sessions with each of the participants.

Today I’m sharing the images from another of my favourite sessions. These beautiful creations are made by Two little Gumnuts. Shaz and Sarah, are mums who struggled to find good quality clothing that didn’t cost a fortune - so they made it themselves.

Shaz and Sarah were tyring to balance a clean, minimal feel in their images while still incorporating a pop of colour and personality. We were able to play with this theme in our photo session together. Here is what we created:
